Of all the special things that God has given me, there is someone that I treasure the most. Someone who is always there for me through thick and thin. Someone who I treasure. My mother.
My mother has been there for me always. She is always there to support me and to enlighten me with her words of wisdom. She tries her best to make our lives comfortable and to give the best things to us. She is a very loving and caring mother. Sometimes, she tells us about her childhood and talks about how her mother treats her before. She tells us that our grandmother was not showy with her love for them. But she tells us that even though grandma was like that, she can feel that grandma truly loved them. That is why, she makes sure that we feel her love and care for us. She gives us strength when we have problems and helps us overcome them. Even though I become stubborn sometimes, she tries to understand me and to correct my faults. I also understand her when she scolds us and become angry to us when we commit mistakes. I know that she just wants us to know the right things to be done and the wrong things to be cast away. She just wants us to be better people in the future and to learn from our mistakes. Even though sometimes I find her overprotective, I know that she just wants the best for us. She always tells us that we must study hard and that we must try our best to graduate college. She also tells us that she really wanted to go to college because she just finished 4th year high school due to financial problems. That is why, she wants us to achieve all that she did not achieve. She wants us to succeed in all the things that we want to do and to have a professional job. She is one of the reasons why I am trying my best to study hard and to graduate hopefully with flying colors. I want to satisfy her by giving her what she expects from us. I hope that it can make her happy and can fill the sadness that she feels when she thinks about her failed goals. She has done so many things for me and I really treasure them.
I thank her for being there for me to lean on. I thank her for giving birth to me and for leading me to the right direction. I can't be what I am now without her. Without her I am incomplete. I feel angry to myself because I become a hard-headed girl sometimes which hurts her. I know that she is trying her best to satisfy us with her love and care and to provide the things that we need. I know that I can't repay her for all that she as done to us but i will just try my best to make her happy. I hope I can repay her with my love and care. I want her to know that she is one of the best things that had happen to me and that I appreciate all the things that she has done for us.
So to all of you who doesn't show your love to your mother, better show it now while there is still time. Because this is just once in a lifetime. So don't waste your time and make them feel that their special because we can only have one mother in our lives.
